On May 8-9th, 2025, our Singapore and Hong Kong teams joined forces for the first time at our FY25 Kick-off Workshop. Over two dynamic days, the team exchanged ideas, strengthened connections, and proved what can be achieved as one united team.

Our team leaders kicked off the workshop by sharing their vision for success at RGF: Our DNA - Driven by purpose, strengthened by Network , and Adaptable to change. These core values guided us throughout the workshop and reminded us that lasting success starts with a strong company culture.

Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges

Mary Suen, the inspiring founder of Chief Happiness Officer Association , led two immersive sessions. In "Think In & Out of the Box," each person turned the box into a tool of self-reflection and team alignment through creative drawing and writing. The session revealed how unconscious mental filters can limit perspectives and explored new ways to challenge conventional thinking.

Building on this foundation, the "Unleashing Innovation" design thinking workshop demonstrated how structured ideation processes can transform individual insights into actionable strategies and solutions that benefit the organization. Mary's infectious enthusiasm energized the room as teams collaborated, shared ideas, and explored new approaches to problem-solving.

A particularly impactful moment came at the end of the workshop, where colleagues showed their appreciation for each other by placing heart stickers on their teammates' clothes – a simple but powerful acknowledgment of each person’s contributions. This small activity captured the heart of the workshop – when teams feel appreciated, they’re more open to innovation.

Promoting Mental & Physical Health Awareness with ‘R U OK? Day’

Originally founded in Australia, ‘ R U OK? Day ’ is a day of action held on the second Thursday of September every year. It serves as a reminder to check in with friends, family, and colleagues, fostering a supportive environment and open communication in our daily lives.

This year, in recognition of ‘R U OK? Day’, our Hong Kong and Singapore of fices engaged in activities focused on promoting holistic wellbeing. In Hong Kong, we partnered with Wellsoon Chinese Medicine Clinic to conduct a workshop on the effects of mental stress on skin conditions and hair health. Complimentary one-on-one consultations with a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner were also offered to our staff for personalized health insights.

In our Singapore office, we collaborated wi th Great Eastern and Zen Physio & Health to host an inf ormative webinar. Led by Dr. Calvin Koh, the session focused on practical stretching techniques and appropriate postures to alleviate common workplace discomforts, such as back pain, neck strain, etc. Additionally, Dr. Koh emphasized the significance of proactive healthcare screenings, raising employees’ awareness of regular health check-ups to identify potential issues.

Encouraging Self-Care with Me Day

Additionally, we continue to offer our staff a ‘Me Day’ each year. ‘Me Day’ is a special day-off for our employees to take time off to focus on their wellbeing. The sole purpose of this initiative is to encourage our team members to take a break from their busy work routines and prioritize their mental and physical health. By creating this intentional space for self-care, we’re investing in the long-term happiness, productivity, and fulfilment of our workforce.
